Hi,
There is important information that follows. Important enough for you to read everything!!!
WHEN: Our Meetup will be held on August 22, 2009 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the Money Show in San Francisco.
WHERE: The San Francisco Marriott, in the Golden Gate A1/A2 Ballroom,
at 55 Fourth Street, San Francisco, CA.
I hope to be able to meet with you prior to 7:00pm, maybe at 6:00pm at the same location, but I have to confirm the availability first. I will let you know as soon as I have the confirmation. If not before 7:00pm, than after the guest speaker completes their presentation, approximately 9:00pm., so please do not leave early.
Our guest speaker, Kate Stalter, from Investor's Business Daily will speak on:
"How to Spot a Tradeable Rally and Profit from It”.
When a new market uptrend begins, no one knows how long it will last. But the most successful investors have ways of profiting from winning stocks even in uptrends that only last a few months. Investors Business Daily will show you how to spot the top performers in any new rally and how to know when to sell and take your profits.

I will follow this notice with information that includes our "Mission Statement” and the program I have designed to build a team to identify the likely stock in each industry group that has the best potential to outperform all the other stocks, long term, in its respective industry group. Some industry groups may not have a stock that measures up to being considered worthy of our attention when compared to much higher potential stocks in other industry groups; after all there is a ceiling to the number of stocks that a person has purchased and continues to effectively monitor; although that number can increase when a team is involved and other members of the team, that have also purchased the same stock(s), are also monitoring these stocks, and can sound an alert when appropriate. Collectively a team can accomplish exponentially more that one person is able to under most circumstances.
Please RSVP as soon as possible for this IBD Meetup. I look forward to meeting each of you as you come in, or as we assemble later. If you want to belong to a successful Meetup group, your attendance and participation are vital. I expect at least 75 members to attend this meeting from this group. I would like all the members to RSVP “YES!!"; AND ATTEND!!! If there is not enough interest then this program will not work effectively and will not likely survive. I will know early on whether there is enough involvement from this group. If there isn’t, I will take my energies and time elsewhere. When I accepted the organizer’s position I was informed that this group would have been disbanded in a week or so. Additionally, I need help in locating a regular meetup location. Please help our group and search for a proper location that can meet for two hours (or more) at least once per month. Try all the San Francisco libraries for a start; broker firms are a good prospect too. Communicate to me your findings. I want an assistant or two, or three (maybe more) to help with this group. Contact me on this; don’t wait for others to act before you do. I stepped up immediately, and I expect each of you to do the same, otherwise why belong to this group in the first place.
Thank you,
Ross
